Our mission for the Maryland Performing Arts Academy is to ensure that all performing artists have a safe space to hone their craft, and gain confidence in their abilities. Having access to instructors who have decades of teaching, directing, and performing experience allow students to continue to enhance their skills, as they pursue their professional careers. But even for those who are just interested in taking a dance or acting class, working in a studio that demands excellence from all students encourages them to demand excellence in themselves. And since creating well rounded, self-sufficient artists is so important to us and the community as a whole, we will create opportunities for students to write, choreograph, direct, and produce their own works as well.
