Intro to Acting

Service Description

ALL AGES Intro to acting is an introduction to the basic elements of the Stanislavski system. Students will train in exercises to develop concentration, imagination, awareness, and leadership skills. Improvisational activities will encourage self-discovery, physical freedom, creative collaboration skills, and a sense of truth. If taken consistently, students should have a greater understanding of these core concepts as beginning actors: projection, articulation, substitution, improvisation, basic scene study, and word interpretation.
